PuppetMaster

A 1 vs 1 asymmetrical local platforming game.

The player using the mouse takes on the role of the God. Their goal is to stop the Runner from reaching one of the three portals within the time by placing object in the runners path with left click. If the God successfully prevents the Runner from escaping, the God wins.

The Runner, controlled by the keyboard, must try to reach one of the portals before the timer expires. If they succeed, the Runner wins.

We recommend playing the game in a best-of-five series, then switching roles and counting series won.

Tip God: Watch out for the bomb which can randomly spawn when placing a block; it will destroy all placed blocks within its range.

Tip Runner: You have a dash (Left Shift key).

Tip God: Manage your heat! Every time you place an object, you gain heat. Not placing a block for a little while will begin cooling you down. If you overheat, you cannot place blocks.

Tip Runner: You have a double jump (press space while in the air).

Tip: You can skip the cutscene in the beginning by pressing space!
